Do you allow pets?

Dogs are allowed at the Maravilla but not at The Dawn. If you would like to bring a pet to Maravilla, please request approval when submitting your booking inquiry. Please provide the breed and weight for approval, as we only allow up to 2 dogs up to 50 lbs, depending on the condo owner. There is a non-refundable pet fee of $150 plus tax.

How far is the beach from the complex?

There is a beach across the street from both Maravilla and the Dawn. There are also other beautiful beaches across Galveston Island, some with food vendors, public showers and restrooms, and umbrella and chair rentals. More information about the beaches can be found in the Welcome Book in each condo.

Question 3

I see your condo sleeps up to a certain number. Can I bring more people?

Accepted Answer

The city fire code does not allow more than the specified number of guests per condo. If you have more guests than the condo accommodates, please rent an additional condo or a larger one.

Do you supply beach towels?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we provide beach towels. Other beach items such as umbrellas, chairs, and ice chests may be provided depending on the condo owner and this will be listed in the description if provided.

Do you allow parties at the complex?

Accepted Answer

Our vacation rentals are located at family-friendly condo resorts. Most guests are here to enjoy a quiet and peaceful time with their other guests or children. Complex management does not allow loud music or inappropriate behavior.

I see your check-in/check-out times are 4 PM and 11 AM. Can I check in early, arrive late, or check out late?

We are happy to accommodate early check-in if no one is departing on the day of your arrival. Please text us the day before, and we will let you know. Late departure is only available if no one is checking in the same day so please message us. Cleaners need ample time to have the condos ready!

How do I get a key for the condo?

Accepted Answer

We use keyless door locks, so you will not need a key! You will receive an access code prior to your arrival. Please add our phone number to your contacts in case you have any problems with the door lock. The HOA front desk cannot provide access.

What if I have a problem during my stay?

Accepted Answer

If you encounter any issues during your stay, please call us immediately using the phone number provided at booking. We want your vacation to be stress-free and will make every effort to resolve any problems promptly.

Question 9

Do I have to pay to park? I have 3 vehicles in my party, what do we do?

Accepted Answer

The Maravilla complex charges $10 per vehicle per day. The Dawn charges $40 for up to 3 nights and $50 for 4 or more nights. You will need to pay this fee per vehicle by credit card upon arrival. If you have multiple vehicles, each one will need a parking pass. The complexes do not accept cash.

Is there parking at the complex?

Accepted Answer

Yes, both The Dawn and Maravilla offer ample unassigned parking. Maravilla also has garage parking. If the garage is full, overflow parking is available in the uncovered areas of the complex. No trailers are allowed.

Question 11

I will be arriving late. What do I do?

Accepted Answer

You can arrive anytime after 4 PM. The condos are self-check-in. Park, proceed to the condo, and use the access code you were assigned to enter. If you arrive very late, please be quiet to avoid disturbing other guests. If you arrive after the office closes, visit the next morning for your parking pass and swim bands.

Are there grills at the resort?

Yes, there are charcoal grills located near each of the pools. Charcoal is not provided, so please bring your own. Grilling on the balconies is strictly prohibited.

Question 13

I notice your condos are non-smoking. Where can I smoke?

Accepted Answer

Smoking is not allowed in the condos or on the balconies. Designated smoking areas are available at the complexes.
